Are you a DC person or a Marvel person? What's your favorite super hero story? Who's your favorite hero, and who's your favorite villain? You've been hired to make a promotional wall scroll for your favorite hero's newest movie release. It will be displayed in the entryway, right next to the red carpet! This image needs to be 8x10", at 300 dpi (so they can print it large on the wall!). You need to include only the most basic representations of the hero, and text within the shapes that represents the hero. See there presentation for more specific requirements, and some inspiration!
Assignment overview: You've been hired! The Erie Newspaper wants you to create a photo comic that tells a funny or serious story (as long as it's school appropriate). You may work as an individual or with a team, it's up to you! You'll need to go out into the world and take pictures that tell a story of your choice, or find images online that you can mash together to make a story. Expectations and project spec requirements can be found in the attached documentation. Don't forget to upload your photoshop file of your work, AND fill out the rubric! I sincerely apologize to parents and students who watch this website in hopes of updates! I have been fighting a bout of insomnia lately, and updating this website completely fell on the back burner. I'm taking time to update everything this week, so expect to see some new art! To start it off, here are some highlights from a project we worked on that I forgot to upload!
For this project, students were asked to design a poster for a band that they liked. There were a handful of requirements, aspects of band event posters that students and myself agreed were on most event posters. Students reinforced information they learned from the last project, as well as learned how to make their own brush in Photoshop. |
